I came across this article and I thought I'd share it before the vaccines come out this year for the flu. I'm still debating about getting one myself because I have not done well for the past two years with the flu shot, but I'm still thinking about it.

I've just come across your blog & wanted to comment on this post. I received the H1N1 vaccine late in the fall of 2009 & had a non-severe allergic reaction (slight shortness of breath & a chicken-pox like rash). Just a year later (after 6-8 months of increased symptoms) I was diagnosed w/fibromyalgia.
Since it seemed that the 2010 flu shots were a combo of the influenza & H1N1 vaccines, I opted not to receive the shot. While I have had issues w/severe back pain, headaches, & fatigue for years, I honestly think that the allergic reaction may have caused the flare leading to the discovery of my fibro.
Just wanted to share my thoughts & thank you for your posts on pregnancy & motherhood. I am expecting my first child & appreciate having someone else's experience to read about!
