Here's My Story...How About Yours?

I have been a very passionate writer when it comes to helping others who deal with this debilitating disease known as Fibromyalgia because I feel that the more information one has at their disposal, the better they will be at being able to help themselves.

Life with Fibromyalgia is not easy some days and it's comforting for me to have tips and tricks of the non-drug kind to help me live my life. I may not be able to do all the things I used to before diagnoses, but I can do most of them and that's a very comforting thought to have when you are faced with a chronic condition that has no cure.

One of the other things that I have become passionate about is health care in the United States. We may have great doctors here, but if we can't afford them, than it's like having none at all.

Having said that, I have become very interested in President Obama's plans for health care. I have also become very active in learning all I can and trying to support a universal plan as best as I can.

I recently sent in my health care story to Organizing for America: Health Care Action Center and I'm proud to announce that it is now posted on the site for all of you to see! You can reach my story at Story 57702.

I hope that you not only read mine, but the many other stories that have been posted over the last week. I encourage each and every one of you to post a story of your own as well. It may not seem like much, but all together, we can help put an end to over-priced health care.

I believe that a yearly check up, a well balanced diet, exercise, and stress reduction are God- given rights. These things should be as affordable as possible for everyone in this country, not just the ones who have enough in the pay check to cover it.

My story is a very personal one and will show you all of our family's struggles with Fibromyalgia, physically, emotionally, AND financially. It's not easy to deal with every aspect of Fibromyalgia alone. I'm just truly blessed to have a very supportive and loving family.

Stay fabulous!
Love and friendship,
Kimberley
